A Rough Couple of Days but things are looking UPPPP!!
We have a lot to be thankful for today! The last couple of days have been hard for Hannah. Her pain was hard to manage- and she was not able to get comfortable. Now that she is an expert- she has been educating us all that abdomen surgery is much more painful than spinal surgery. Continue reading “A Rough Couple of Days but things are looking UPPPP!!”
Good news!! She is out of surgery!
Hannah is out of surgery and in recovery. We are with her now and she is still sleeping. Dr. Bippity Bop was able to complete the Strong procedure. He commented on the fact that her duodenum was completed compacted by her anatomy. He removed her appendix, which was oversized. He is extremely positive about theContinue reading “Good news!! Update from the OR
The nurse just came out and reported that everything is going well. Dr. Blippity blop is still exploring her bowl and has not made a clear decision in which procedure. Hannah has not been able to stop vomiting, and overContinue reading “Another Surgery”

Back at CHOP
I am so tired of bad news. WARNING: this blog post is full of it. We have been re-admitted to CHOP. Hannah went to rehab with a wonderful attitude and determined to work hard and focus on re-gaining her independence. Shortly after we arrived and we completed her PT evaluation, she began vomiting. The vomitingContinue reading “Back at CHOP”
Discharge Day! Here We Come Weisman….
Today was moving day. We were discharged from CHOP and transported to Weisman Children’s Rehab Hospital in Marlton, NJ. This is great news for so many reasons. First, as Hannah will tell you- there are many new restaurant and food options near here. Hannah was tired of the CHOP food and the delivery places nearContinue reading “Discharge Day!
