Good news!! She is out of surgery!

Hannah is out of surgery and in recovery. We are with her now and she is still sleeping. Dr. Bippity Bop was able to complete the Strong procedure. He commented on the fact that her duodenum was completed compacted by her anatomy. He removed her appendix, which was oversized. He is extremely positive about the surgery and the expected recovery – but he cautioned us to be patient and take it one day at a time. She is expected to have about a week’s recovery. While the feeding tube has been removed, he left the sump in and will remove it as her bowels wake up, which he said can be two days or two weeks (we are praying for the 2 days)… I am afraid to celebrate the good news yet – but we are so relieved.

  7. Sorry but I am celebrating Wonderful news🥳. I understand why you aren’t just yet, but I am so happy the surgery is over and you can breathe again while being by her side. Hannah I am hoping for the 2 days also but if it takes a little longer, have patience your body has been through a lot lately, you a tough enough to deal with that. Love You Both. You got this Hannah, cheers to the start of lots of better things happening for you! ❤️
