  8. My day is off to a great start because I got to enjoy story time with you! So nice to see you and how lovely that you shared this book with us! Being read to is one of my favorites things in the world and the message in this book certainly applies to all of us. One of the things that you’ve given to me through your blog is the reminder of how impactful it is to shine the light on difficult things. It’s meaningful to share our hardships along with our successes because life sure does give us big doses of both. Thank you for the reminder of how to be brave and how to be authentically myself.

  12. Hi Hannah!! So nice to see you and that you are feeling better. I think about you and your family every day, and I can’t wait to see you all again. I put the February 23 date in my calendar and I will start saving up prayers now for that event to go well.
The Maybe book reminded me of one of my favorite sayings: proceed as if your life is unfolding exactly as it should be. I have to admit that that advice has been hard for me to follow when life has thrown me challenges, but now I see that it is the best advice ever. We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can shape who we will be after the challenge appears.
I hope you have had a chance to watch a little college basketball – games during COVID are better than no games, I guess, but it sure feels weird to have no spectators screaming, or students waving funny things hoping to throw off the foul shooters. “You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone . . . . ”
    All my love,
    Aunt Carol
