Hi, Everyone! It’s Hannah. I am writing because in two days I will be returning to the hospital (Tuesday, February 23). If I’m being honest, I am in no means ready. I am terrified of going back there -I really am. But, I have to believe that it’s our turn for some good luck. My mom and I keep saying we are expecting things to go smoother this time because we have had our fair share of bad/depressing news and set backs. Right now we can’t be sure of the amount of surgeries I will need, but if everything goes as planned it should only be one and we will hopefully be out in about a week.
Then I can return to the Hannah I was before all this. That is what I want more than anything. I want to be able to be active and I want to plan travels and adventures. That is what I am focusing on.
Before I go I just wanted to thank you all for your constant support and love through this whole journey. I will forever be grateful for what you have done for me and my family! While I’m in the hospital my mom will keep you updated. I hope we have good news to share with you all soon!

You are right Hannah, this will be the start of all positive things for you! While surgery is scary you have to trust in the doctors, they are going to make you feel whole again! Back to the Hannah that is active and feeling good! Plus with vaccinations rolling out Covid won’t get in the way of travel plans soon!
